The creator of the "Westside Cemetery" Halloween experience in Westmount expressed disappointment that the Cape Breton Regional Municipality made him take it down.
CBRM representative Paul Burt told the Cape Breton Post that complaints were filed against the attraction for being dangerous and unsightly. The CBRM officials agreed and required the owner to take it down. However, they suggested that it could be allowed if it was put up and taken down in a "reasonable amount of time" for Halloween.
The creator says he will bring it back and is looking for other locations.
