Large Shark Found On Inverness Beach

A shortfin mako shark* measuring over 8-feet was found on shore at an Inverness beach. Social media posters say it was beached last night, and attempts at pulling it back into deeper water were unsuccessful. 

(*Correction: DFO subsequently identified it as a Porbeagle Shark)
